gsus Rocks Fashion Week

Every year L'Oréal Fashion Week in Toronto takes on a label that's a bit unexpected. The DC Girls show last Fall seemed slightly out-of-place (I don't really think street skate brand when I think FDCC) but it was a fun show amidst the sea of Canadiana couture (if you can call it that). This year, it was the gsus show on Friday night that stood out for me. What a blast! The Dutch brand brought-it with a super-fun runway fusion of fashionsta rock-punk meets tailored versatility. It's a creative brand for the creative elite, and this show didn't disappoint with the amptly named "VIKINGS on AMISHon" collection. When a great model stomps-it, in a blinding gold bikini, to a blasting Fischerspooner track, well, let's just say, that's the sort of fashion show I like. Thanks gsus.
